In the morning you will travel to Iskandarkul Lake over Anzob Pass at an altitude of 3,372 m. With a fantastic panorama view through spectacular mountain scenery. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in Tajikistan at an altitude of 2,195 m. Iskandarkul Lake was named after Alexander the Great, who allegedly visited the lake on his way from Central Asia to India. After arrival at the lake, you will go for a walk along its shores, which is a great place to rest. Then you will hike to see a waterfall called the “Fann Niagara” which falls from 38 meters high. You will also visit “Kuli Moron” (Lake of Snakes). Two minutes hike up from the lake you will have a fantastic viewpoint of Iskanderkul Lake. After resting near the lake, you will head back to Dushanbe.
