  • Due to the high altitudes, travelers may experience the following symptoms such as headache, nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, weakness, difficulty breathing, trouble sleeping, etc. To prevent altitude sickness, we will be making a slow and gradual ascent throughout the journey. We suggest keeping an eye out for symptoms of altitude sickness and trying to drink plenty of water.
  • It is also recommended to pack a few books, board games, and other entertainment items with you to the Pamir Highway tour due to the long hours of drive. Once we leave Khorog city, there will be no access to the Internet and TV at the guesthouses and homestay where we may stay. To make the evenings more fun, books and board games might come in handy.
